Loves

Introducing: Mr. Christopher Thomas...

This is my boyfriend, my love, my other half...

Tonight I took Chris dinner at work- he is closing and will be there until at least 11. I sat in his office with him for a few and told him about my day and how I was back on blogger, he asked if I mentioned him in it at all- and of course, I said yes. But then I thought about it, and sure I talk about him in passing but for someone who is so important to me- I believe he deserves his own post.

So here it is!

I met Chris in August of 2011 and by the following year I was more or less head over heels for him. Chris is the Sales floor ETL at Target. He is one of the hardest workers I've ever known and it's one of the many things I love about him. He gives 100% in everything does and he often keeps me on track because of that. He is intelligent, thorough, and he doesn't ever do anything halfway. He's worked hard to get where he's at and has done so because he is driven. One of many things we have in common.

Chris's sense of humor is that of a 10 year old- yet another reason why I love him. To date someone that makes you laugh so hard it hurts on a daily basis is a true blessing. I have never had so much fun with a single person. I am myself one hundred percent of the time- the good, the bad, and the ugly- and surprisingly....and I mean....REALLY..surprisingly, he loves me still.

This man keeps my head on straight. When I'm not acting like I own the world (soon before I most of the time come to realize differently lol) and when I am not believing in myself quite as much as I should he reassures me that I am as amazing as he believes I am and that I can do anything I set my mind to. In the worst of times he picks me back up. Never failing to assure me "any job would be lucky to have you" and that on the day I was sick, had three hours of sleep, and went out with my hair in the same pony I slept in that "you don't look bad at all, in fact you look beautiful".

An amazing golfer. He is patient and persistent. Two characteristics an amazing golfer must have. While I am not good- in fact, I am quite horrible, he has opened my eyes to so many new things. I love going out to the course with him even if it is just to drive the cart like a drunk toddler and to hit a few balls here and  there- usually directly into trees (if I make contact at all!) None-the-less, it's a great view and I enjoy it. Maybe even more than he does. Side note: the first swing I ever took with Chris I broke his driver. But that's a story for another day haha- Oops!

My trusty wedding sidekick, he's always a trooper.

My traveling buddy. To be in a car with one person for 16+ hours and still coming out loving them more than when you left- that is true love! Our trips to visit his Florida family are always to be remembered. Whether it be staying with the entire crew at their time share resort-Vistana, or just hanging with the grandparents at their place, it's always sure to be a great time. Not only am I in love with him, but I am in love with his family. They're genuinely good people.

Life is good, I am at my happiest, and I credit a very great portion of it to this man.
He truly is my rock.
